About us

Who we are

A humanitarian organization committed to the recovery, dignity and wellbeing of people facing life’s hardest moments.

Who we are

Standing with people on the road to recovery

Peace Response International supports people who are often left to cope alone: people living with disabilities, children from broken homes, survivors of sexual violence and torture, and people surviving cancer.

We combine psychosocial support with practical help, because healing is easier when basic needs are met.

Our mission

To help people living with disabilities, children from broken homes, and survivors of sexual violence and torture recover through psychosocial support and help with their other needs — and to stand beside cancer survivors with moral support on their journey and care for their special needs.

Our vision

A world where every survivor is met with dignity, care and the support they need to thrive.

Our values

What guides our work

Dignity

Every person is treated with respect and has a say in their own care.

Confidentiality

What people share with us stays safe. Survivors decide what is shared, and with whom.

Compassion

We listen first, without judgement, and stay for the long term.

Inclusion

Our services are open to everyone, regardless of background, ability or belief.
